The aim of this site from day one has been to help to expand horizons and to allow people to experience the rich flavour of this event at first hand. The Kent2CapeTown web site project began to take form in September 2000, when Designation.com Ltd decided to partner with the Kent to CapeTown Expedition team to provide an educational resource covering their attempt to drive from Kent (UK) to CapeTown (Africa) in aid of the Demelza House charity.

Designation have been specialising in the design and devlopment of event sites since the Richard Branson Global Challenge event in late 1997. Our focus has been to build dynamic sites which form the basis of a community for the people who follow these adventures. Through interactive maps, up to the minute news, feature articles, educational material, photography, on-line donations and email updates we are building event sites that deliver.
